Executive Summary

The Reservoir Engineering Expertise Group (KKTR) has 13 (thirteen) lecturers, of which 4 (four) are Professors, 2 (two) are Senior Lecturers, 3 (three) Lecturers, 1 (one) expert assistant lecturer and 3 (three) lecturers are still being proposed as Assistant Experts. There are 3 (three) lecturers who are currently studying abroad. Since 2017, KKTR has promoted 2 (two) lecturers to become Professors and 1 (one) lecturer to become Lecturer. In 2018, 1 (one) lecturer has been approved to become Lecturer, 1 (one) lecturer has been appointed as Professor and 1 (one) lecturer is still in the evaluation of Professor promotion at the Senate Forum. Every year, a selection of new lecturers is carried out for the development and improvement of the quality of human resources at KKTR. From 2016-2018, 2 lecturers have been accepted to join KKTR.

The research conducted by KKTR is an implementation of research from the KKTR Road Map from 2016-2020. In 2018, the research conducted by KKTR lecturers was P3MI research with funding from ITB. There was 1 (one) lecturer as the head of research in the Higher Education Excellence Research (PUPT) with funding from DIKTI. For the ITB P3MI program, KKTR conducted 6 researches and 1 community service in the field of research. Where the target achievements of P3MI are 6 international journals (draft), 3 scientific journals (published) and 2 scientific publications (published and accepted). KKTR lecturers also conduct research with researchers from abroad such as Korea and Malaysia. In 2017, a joint research was agreed with Universiti Teknologi PETRONAS for the completion of student dissertation research under the co-promoter of KKTR lecturers and in 2018 a series of research preparations were carried out in Petronas by conducting visits by 2 KKTR lecturers and 1 Doctoral student. In 2018, research was conducted at Seojong University by KKTR lecturers for the dissertation research of 1 doctoral student.

The Scopus H-Index of KKTR lecturers increased from 2017 to 2018. A minimum H-Index value of 2 was owned by 8 lecturers, an H-Index value equal to 1 was owned by 1 lecturer and 3 expert assistant lecturers still had an H-Index value equal to 0 (zero). In the future, 3 lecturers will be trained and guided in research for publication in Scopus-indexed international journals.

In mid-2018, there was a development of Expertise Groups at FTTM. This caused several KKTR lecturers to be assigned to become lecturers in the new KK that was formed, namely the Geothermal KK. There were 4 (four) lecturers assigned to the Geothermal KK, the lecturers were:

  2. Eng. Ir. Sutopo, M.Eng.
  3. Heru Berian Pratama ST., MT.
  4. Nurita Putri Hardiani ST., MT.

Thus, at the end of 2018 there were 9 lecturers assigned to KKTR where 2 lecturers were studying abroad. In the future, KKTR will recruit lecturers for expertise in the fields of reservoir fluids, reservoir simulation, unconventional hydrocarbons, well testing and formation evaluation.
